Pig Girl and Mosey takes place in Appalachia.  I was real interested in Mosey being into botany and taxonomy because he's a bit of a nerd and he can record so much information in his head.  He had the internet in his brain before there was an internet. That's sort of what I was trying to achieve.  And so he has a whole catalogue of images and latin names and features, as he is out on the mountains to refer to.  Here are some photos of what Mosey might see while walking and he'd know their latin and common names, too.
